Lean enterprise models are systematic approach to decrease wastes while maintaining or increasing value for the customer. The wastes are non-value added activities that has no value for the end customer and categorized into 7 groups. These wastes are transportation, inventory, motion, waiting, over-processing, overproduction and defects. Lean enterprise models can be applied throughout the organization at all process levels.
