SUB-CONTRACTOR

1) He/she is a real or legal person, who undertakes/ fulfils the part of work, subject matter of contract, on behalf of contractor and who is in subjection to the contractor.
2) He/she is a real or legal person, who works, with the approval of contracting entity, on behalf of the contractor by reason of feature of work, subject matter of the contract and in case of need in accordance with commercial and legal relationships with contractor. Sub-contractor represents real or legal person, who supplies / fulfils some part of material or service in unit price table or overall rate letter of bid. Real or legal persons can not be supposed to be sub-contractors, who manufacture sub-parts, which are to use for manufacturing material/service of contract or who furnish transportation services. Manufacturers of products for which they are recognized dealer on behalf of contractors, who are not manufacturers, are not supposed to be sub-contractor. ferit
